Crafting the perfect title graphic for ‘I am DB Cooper’ starring Ryan Cory was a great story in itself. I tried to emulate movie titles and graphics of the past, capture an essence of mystery and intrigue, and pair that with a modern typeface, in hopes to visually bring to life the tale of one man’s daring exploits and the elusive hunt for hidden wealth. Get that 💰.

Worthy studies for sure, but we felt the first one was too playful, the second was too modern and the last one too proper. We ended up using ole Cabernet JF in all its swashy goodness and paired it with the daring new Nuform, something to bring it into today’s times where appropriate in the documentary.
